Abstract The SABRE (Sodium-iodide with Active Background REjection) experiments aim to detect an annual rate modulation from dark matter interactions in ultra-high purity NaI(Tl) crystals. South experiment is located at the Stawell Underground Physics Laboratory (SUPL), Australia, first deep underground laboratory southern hemisphere, due be completed late 2021. designed disentangle seasonal or site-related effects matter-like modulated signal observed by DAMA/LIBRA Northern Hemisphere. It a partner North effort Gran Sasso National (LNGS). instrumented crystals immersed linear alkylbenzene based liquid scintillator veto, further surrounded passive steel and polyethylene shielding plastic muon veto. under construction, will commissioned early 2022. In this article we present final design of South, status its expected sensitivity like modulation. We also brief report on SUPL.
